FAQ
How does IV Therapy work?
Intravenous (IV) Vitamin Drips deliver vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly to the body for maximum absorption. This allows the nutrients to flood your body and nourish itself at the cellular level. By using this method we can safely deliver larger doses that would not otherwise be tolerated orally.
IV vitamin drips can be used both proactively to maintain optimum wellness and also to treat acute and chronic conditions. Our healthcare providers can assist in selecting the best drip for your needs.
Who can get an IV?
Almost anyone. We do not treat minors below the age of 18 or adults above the age of 65. Patients with certain medical conditions may not be appropriate for our treatment. After booking an appointment, all patients will review their medical history with our medical provider. I.V.’s are safe for pregnant and breastfeeding patients however not all medications are recommended. If you are pregnant, we prefer to be in contact with your obstetrician regarding your care.
Are there any side effects during IV process?
No major side effects are usually seen after an I.V. treatment. A small bruise may occur after treatment. It is normal to experience a cooling sensation during the treatment.
How often can I get one?
The benefits of IV therapy are felt with a single treatment. On average our clients visit 1-2 per week, depending on the goals. You should tailor your I.V. treatments based on your bodies demand. Our licensed medical providers will assist you with tailoring your treatments to get the maximum benefit.
Does it hurt?
Our team is composed of licensed medical professionals that have over 18 years of I.V. placement and infusion experience. We use a small-sized I.V. so at most you may feel a tiny pinch.
